About ecoshop

ecoshop is a free planning tool for patios and terraces. Answer six questions about your space — sun, size, constraints, goals, budget — and get an architect-reviewed blueprint that respects what you actually have to work with.

We started this because most patio design tools are built for big yards or for designers, not for the renter with 80 square feet, hauled water, and a gusty corner. Small spaces have constraints big spaces don't. They deserve tools that take those constraints seriously.

Principles

i
Constraints before aesthetics. Sun, wind, water, weight. The patio that survives August is the one designed for what the space tolerates, not what looks good on a moodboard.
ii
Free to start. The planning tool is free. No paywall, no signup wall, no upsell traps. We'd rather you use it than fence it off.
iii
Real architects, not templates. Every blueprint is reviewed by a working architect who has built outdoor spaces in your city. Not a stock library.
iv
Honest about scope. The free blueprint gets you started. For exact plant species, sourcing, and a buildable plan, we connect you to a paid consult. Both options are real.

Where we work

ecoshop is launching first in Seattle, Los Angeles, New Delhi, and Gurgaon. We chose these cities because they cover wildly different climates, plant ecosystems, and design sensibilities — and because we have architects on the ground in each. More cities are coming. If you're elsewhere, join the waitlist and we'll let you know when your area is supported.
